Is there an easy fix to choppy video after updating to Mac OS 12.7.4/Safari 17.4?

After updating my MacBook Air to OS 12.7.4 and Safari 17.4 streaming video is choppy and not synced with audio. This has happened in the past but I can't remember the fix. Any help would be appreciated.
