Clips videos lost

We suddenly had Clips videos disappear. The phone didn't have enough storage so Clips wouldn't let us send the videos. But once we had cleared the storage, the videos disappeared. We had spent a lot of time on these and were lost. We finally found a solution. See below for how to recover lost Clips videos:

Go to Settings > General >iPhone Storage
Scroll until you get to the Clips app, click on Clips app
Select Offload App (DO NOT SELECT DELETE APP)
Once that is done, then download the app again from the App Store
Then the lost videos appeared again

We had not seen any solutions on the internet or in the communities/support so hopefully this helps somebody.
