While it's not possible to directly edit sleep data collected by your iPhone or Apple Watch, there is a way to make corrections. Here's the deal:

  • You can't change specific details within a sleep session.
  • Instead, you can remove inaccurate data and add a new entry with the correct information.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Open the Health app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap "Browse" and then "Sleep."
  3. Find the date you want to edit and scroll down completely.
  4. Look for "Show All Data" and tap on it.
  5. Once you see all the sleep data points, tap "Edit" in the top right corner.
  6. Now, you can select the sleep session you want to remove by swiping left or tapping the entry.
  7. After deleting the incorrect data, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a new sleep entry with the accurate details.

While it's not exactly editing, this approach allows you to maintain a more accurate picture of your sleep patterns in the Health app.
