Linking whatsapp account to Windows 11 device

I am unable to link the whatsapp account on iPhone 15plus to Windows 11 desktop. How can this be resolved

Can't get WhatsApp to work on iPhone 16 Pro Max I have an older phone - a samsung galaxy A 23 which is used at home with the house wifi but without a sim card. I have transferred the sim card to my Iphone 16. I then deleted the Whatsapp on my Samsung A 23 in order to download the whatsapp on to my Iphone 16max pro. Unable to link WhatsApp on my iPhone 16 with WhatsApp wed on Windows. whats app web of windows not working/linking with my iphone 16. tried all options. deinstall several times on desktop, downloaded straight from ms windows, reinstalled on iphone. still the same issue. it says "unexpected error". Even tried to link through phone number. but whatsapp web is working. but that will have the options to connect calls, other features like app. please provide a solution [Re-Titled By Moderator]

Did you do what this page from WhatsApp recommends --> https://web.whatsapp.com/
