Apple News+ on iPhone won't load, it just spins.

This is an ANSWER to my problem:

Yesterday, I upgraded from an iPhone 13 Pro to an iPhone 15 Pro. The transfer went smoothly. No problems. However, Apple News was just spinning when I started it on the iPhone. Apple News Plus is fine on my MBP and iPad. My News Plus shared subscription works fine on my family member’s devices. It just keeps spinning on the iPhone. I tried trouble-shoot steps 1-6. I then contacted Apple Support and Jason gave me another choice which fixed it. See step 7 compliments of Jason at Apple Support in Texas.

1. Close and reopen the app

2. Restart your device

3. Check for updates in the App Store.

4. Delete the app, then redownload it

5. iPhone software is up to date.

6. Checked for any VPNs or security/networking apps

7. Go to Settings > Your Name > icloud > Show All (under APPS USING ICLOUD). Scroll down to News. Turn off News. Select "keep on my iPhone." Launch Apple News. Once it launches, close the app, Return to Settings > Your Name > icloud > Show All (under APPS USING ICLOUD). Scroll down to News. Turn ON News. Select "Merge." Launch News app. All should be good.

Apparently, when syncing the News app, it can get stuck. This "Unsticks" it.

You can do this with any icloud apps listed that may be having the same problem.
