Is there some sort of guideline or rule on sharing podcasts in Apple Podcasts

We asked someone who is a partner in our industry if they would mind sharing our podcast on their website, this is the reply we received: "I checked with my team to find out about us also posting the podcast and they said that Apple podcasts and other entities don’t like double podcasting something that has already been podcast." Is there some sort of guideline or rule that I am overlooking by asking them to share/market our podcast, or are they talking about a different policy?
