do stock prices automatically update on stock portfolio

the chart above is also incorrect as a 2.2% gain is charted as 70% gain

The stock prices are from the close from the previous day, they are not real-time prices. As with all functions/formulas, they update when a change is made by the user to the spreadsheet (such as entering data in a cell or changing a formula or clicking a checkbox) or when the spreadsheet is first opened. So, if you leave your spreadsheet open all night untouched, the prices you see the next day will be the same ones it had the day before unless you make some other change or close/open the spreadsheet to get it to update.


I see no chart in your post so I cannot comment on why it is incorrect.
