Declined calls on Apple Watch not going to voicemail I've recently been having an issue where phone calls that I decline on my Apple Watch Ultra do not go to my voicemail: instead, the caller gets multiple rings, then a message that the call could not be completed as dialed. I updated the watch to the latest WatchOS 10.1, but am still getting the same. Declining calls on my iPhone still sends the call to voicemail as expected. I just got a new iPhone 15 Pro Max, but this issue may have been happening before that; I can't be sure. Can someone help?

Sorry, you cannot have separate voicemail on your iPhone and the Apple Watch paired to it. While your Apple Watch has its own phone number it is tied to the phone number of your iPhone. That’s why an incoming call rings on both devices. As far as your carrier is concerned they are the same.
