WhatsApp call notifications on Apple Watch no longer come through

I am still receiving message alerts on my watch for WhatsApp. I can go into them and reply back. However my call notifications seem to have disappeared altogether. I have researched and anything I found says to go to WhatsApp on the watch. There is no WhatsApp app listed on the watch. I installed WatchChat to try and resolve it but no luck. Can someone please help advise what the issue is as I keep missing calls as the iPhone is always on silent. Thanks.
