Menu Bar Turns A Burgundy Red When Opening an Application.
Our MacBook Pro (16" 2019 Touch Bar) started having an issue where it wouldn't open a programme. First it was Safari, and Spotify, but a reinstall fixed Spotify and a restart solved safari (and therefore allowed me to reinstall Spotify since I couldn't open safari either).
Later, I tried to open a different programme (Qlab) and it wouldn't open. The menu up top goes Burgundy red and then goes back to normal. It then wouldn't open the application. I tried reinstalling and the issue continued. Tried restarting, and the problem persisted.
Put the computer away and came back to it later. It now opens the programme in question, but still brings up the red bar before doing so.
I tried searching to figure out what it's trying to communicate, but all I find are the bright red menu bars and things not related to the issue. To fully clarify, it's a faded burgundy and not a bright red, and it's the whole menu bar.
It's all very disappointing that it's acting up again because we just had the whole laptop reset and cleared because it got a corrupted startup disk out of no where.
