What is the app GlanceGuest and how did it get on my MacBook Pro?

GlanceGuest is installed on my new MacBook Pro. I'm puzzled as to how it was downloaded to my computer. Does it come with Mac computers?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 13.6

No it is not installed by default on Mac computers. It is a screen sharing program used by many companies to provide technical support. It may be possible to view the date it was used by choosing Get Info on the Application file. I suggest you remove it and check at  > System Settings > General > Sharing to verify the Screen Sharing is not enabled as well as the Remote Management options. Follow up by posting the free EtreCheck report to make sure all remnants have been removed.
