homekit on IOS 17.4.1

Nothing is working. Updates don’t push to device. Ever since the iPad was removed as a hub it has progressively gotten worse. Removed HomePods, added HomePods this is becoming useless.

In my case I can’t invite my wife and matter devices stopped working! This update messed up real bad my smart home.

iOS 16.4.1(a) and Homekit Does anyone have problem with iOS 16.4.1(a) and Homekit? Yesterday I installed the iOS 16.4.1(a) on my iPhone 14, iPhone XS and iPad. After that my homekit doesn't understand if I'm at home or not. So my security cameras are in "record" as I'm away and my lights don't switch automatically on when I return home. My Homekit hub is an HomePod mini and/or an AppleTV 4k, both with iOS 16.4.1. Any ideas?

HomeKit update of 9/20/23 is a disaster! Things started to act weird last night and I got a notice on my iPad that HomeKit was being upgraded. This has turned out to be an utter disaster rather than an improvement! The devices are visible in HomeKit and do occasionally respond, but there is a huge lag and the devices constantly drop into Updating status! l’ve rebooted my ISP’s (xfinity) router. My Apple TVs all have the latest OS and I have 4 home hubs in play if Include the HomePods. One of the Apple TVs is currently the primary. My iPhone and iPad are on iOS 17. The smart devices are made by fully vetted vendors that have spent a considerable amount of time in Apple’s own store! I was going to sign up with iCloud+, but I don’t trust the long term reliability of HomeKit anymore! Please tell me there’s hope and that this behavior is a known issue that Apple and HomeKit vendors are working on. At the very least this is a disastrous rollout of whatever they were trying to achieve.

HomeKit configuration not working ??? Why is the following text in Settings --> Home, on both my iPhone and iPad - "You currently do not have any homes or home invitations to homes. Create homes in a HomeKit supported app." ??? When... I have configured a home in the Home app, with 3 devices (smart irrigation system, smart tv & HomePod mini), 3 rooms and 3 zones. The configuration was done on my iPad, and the identical configuration can also now be seen in my iPhone and Mac. Controlling the HomePod mini from the app works fine.

I see the same since I have updated my system to 17.4.

Connection of HomeKit devices are broken many times. And what troubles me that I seen on Reddit discussion that this was already observed in 17.4 beta release...

Yea I found the Reddit discussion. I just bought smart bulbs and none of them respond. All I see is no response. Philips Wiz just told me everything works on their end so this has got to for sure be an  issue.
