Wallet automatically redirect to a random website when I try to add a Boarding pass from Cathay Pacific. Worked in Dec 23.
From Cathay website, I click 'Add to wallet". It seems to be working then opens a page of a random website.

The apps and links are from Southwest, not Apple. You might want to try adding from their app until Southwest straightens their issue out. Have you talked to the Southwest support team?
Are you using beta software (iOS 18)?
I am having a similar problem. Normally my boarding passes from Southwest Airlines present no problem and I am able to successfully add them to my Apple Wallet (on my iPhone).
However, this time, when I pressed Add, I was redirected to an unrelated website.
There's actually two boarding pass links in the same text message. I experimented with both of the links. It turns out each of them is redirecting me to the last website I had visited in Safari.
The passes are indeed showing up in my Apple Wallet.
Any ideas on what's going wrong?
Contact the Cathay support team. Apple Wallet does not use redirects. That’s a fault in their website. Is your wife’s iphone updated to the latest version iOS and latest Cathay app?
Yes I click on a Cathey link. I have no problem adding a Cathay boarding pass on my own phone. Cannot do it on my wife phone. It redirects. Tried multiple ways.
Are you clicking on a link on Cathay’s website? Secure it’s like passes and tickets are added to Apple Wallet app in a secure manner. Either you click a like in a text or email from Cathay, a link in the Cathay mobile app or a link on the Cathay website. If the link on the Cathay website is not working, please contact the Cathay support team.
