iPhone 12 mini battery Life cut in half after iOS 17 update

After the iOS 17 update my battery life is cut in half. Apple claimed that it was because of an unstable hardware so they replaced it. The brand new unit experiences the same drastic battery loss. I went through 20% battery on a half an hour phone call with Apple support. What’s going on here? Any ideas on how to fix this?

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. Battery issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone battery functions.
