Unable to activate an Apple Gift Card without purchase receipt

I can’t redeem a gift card for 50 dollars. I contacted customer support and after sending a picture of my card the envelope it came in and the activation receipt the lady said it wasn’t enough and I needed the actual receipt. This card was a gift so I don’t have a receipt other than the activation receipt. I was told it can’t be redeemed without this receipt.

Have you talked to the manager of the store that the gift card was purchased at? Stores can usually print a duplicate receipt and stores can activate the gift card.
