You can't.

For starters, Windows 8 is built to run on processors using the Intel / AMD machine code instruction set. iPhones have processors that use a different, ARM-based instruction set. Trying to run Windows 8 on an iPhone would be like trying to conduct business, using only French, in a place where people spoke only Japanese.

There is a version of Windows 11 for ARM, but you can't install it as the main OS on Apple-Silicon-based Macs, let alone on an iPhone.

The iPhone has its own operating system – iOS – designed specifically for iPhone hardware. It has some common underpinnings with the Macintosh operating system (macOS), but is tailored for a device with a small touch screen, no real keyboard, no separate pointing device (mouse/trackpad), and limited RAM and storage. That's the OS that you use if you have an iPhone.

Why can’t windows 8 be installed on an iPhone?

Simply because Microsoft programmed Windows to take advantage of certain pieces of hardware (things like intel chips and a mouse).

Apple is a different company from Microsoft. And, Apple creates major hardware, like iPhones. So your iPhone was put together by a company called Apple, and so it has not been built with the hardware Microsoft wrote windows 8 for. Therefore, windows 8 has no chance of working on Apple’s iPhone. :)

To run windows on a phone you need a different one, namely a MS/Nokia Lumia. But I think they stopped making them in 2016.

Microsoft used Windows branding, but this OS wasn't identical to desktop Windows, and "The main criticism of Windows Phone was the lack of applications when compared to iOS and Android."

You should take advantage of the opportunity you now have to learn Apple’s iOS operating system. iOS is an operating system as is windows 8.

I have found that the best source of learning material for iPhone is reading their manual.

Open the Books app. It’s already on your phone.

1.) Then tap the “Search” button in the lower right.

2.) Type “iPhone user guide for iOS 17”; search for that.

3.) Press the blue “Get” button next to the top search result. The iOS 17 user guide is free.

4.) Finally, press the blue or black “Read” button that appears after the user manual downloads.

Now, it’s 236 pages so it’s best to tap your phone’s screen while that user manual is open. Then tap the tiny button that now appears in the lower right of your screen. Next tap the Search button and search away. :)

Prepare to learn many cool things. It’s written very well; even has images.

“Next tap the Search button and search away.”

This Search button appears on the screen after you tap the tiny button that appeared in the lower right.

Just wanted to say that it’s a totally different Search button from the one that allowed you to search for the iOS 17 user guide. That allowed you to search through every available book that can be purchased or downloaded for free. This Search button allows searching through whatever book you have open. They’re totally different; just wanted to avoid possible confusion.
