When using my Apple Card why can't I make a larger (read: payoff) payment, and even ahead of time?

You can’t pay more than you owe on almost all credit cards. There really is no point to doing that, as they don’t pay interest. Pending charges haven’t been finalized and can’t be paid until the charge finalizes.
