starting an Microsoft subscription

I am trying to subscribe to Microsoft office to be able to make powerpoints among other things. when I get to the part were I put my card info and confirm it, it says to contact apple support. have tried restarting the MacBook and quitting powerpoint but it does not work

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.2

I'm not sure why Microsoft is asking you to contact Apple. Get your subscription directly from Microsoft:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/buy/compare-all-microsoft-365-products

Make sure your model/version Mac is compatible with Microsoft Office.
