how do I extend the time of display of each photo in a play memory video?

I have a Mac Book Pro 2019 IOS 14.1.2.

I have about 100 photos located in an album. The play "slideshow" does not respond. The "play memory video" does respond and the display time for each photo is about 4 seconds. I would like to extend the display time for each photo to display at 20 seconds. Is this possible?

I realized I didn't answer your original question: You can't change the on-screen time of the memory slideshow or the slideshow that is created as in the animated screenshot I posted.

You need to select the images in the album and create a slideshow project where you can select your theme, own music and on-screen time for each slide.
