Looking for a way to connect Epson V39II scanner to my MacBook Air

Afternoon,

I'm trying to find a way to connect my recently purchased Epson V30II scanner to my MacBook Air 2018. The problem is that the scanner powers via the usb-cable and that the cable included only has usb-a (and my computer only has usb-c).

I have so far tried with the original cable through my satechi hub, with a usb-c to usb-a cable and an adapter that provides charging through usb-a. None of these attempts was successful, the installation software can't find the scanner.

I checked the specs for the printer and it wants 2.5w power, would apples usb-c to usb adapter suffice? Has anyone got this printer working from a usb-c?

Many thanks from Sweden.
