Upgrading MAC OS High Sierra 10.13.6 to Monteray
Trying to upgrade MAC OS High Sierra 10.13.6 to Monteray the error says the recovery server could not be contacted. What do I do?

What year is your MacBookPro ? ( go to “about thus mac”) to find that info… Monterey works with these Macs : macOS Monterey is compatible with these computers - Apple Support (CA)
usually you have to go to something intermediate Eg, Mojave… ( MacOS 10.14) before trying to get to Monterey, so if your Mac meets the requirements for Mojave, upgrade to that, then if it meets the requirements for Monterey, upgrade to that… you can get both from Apple : How to download and install macOS - Apple Support (CA)
Safari is recommended for download, other browsers may work, but you’ll have to point ‘em to the App Store manually,
