Apple pay(square) randomly sent receipt to wrong email

It sent to my work email instead of my personal, and I don’t even have my work email saved in my profile. I checked in settings> wallet and Apple Pay > transaction defaults, and it’s still set to my personal email. How do I fix this so it doesn’t happen again?
