How do I use Cardio Fitness on my Apple Watch?

Hi I’m not sure how to use cardio fitness on my iwatch, do I need to add data like times or anything there, dosnt seem to be a lot of information about cardio on it and if I go out for a walk how do the charts, change? Thanks

Cardio Fitness (VO2 Max) data is collected by your watch during Outdoor Walk, Outdoor Run and Hiking workouts. So, if you want your watch to collect the data, when you go for a walk, you need to be using an Outdoor Walk workout.

There's no "walking app". You need to use the Workout app on your watch and select an outdoor walk workout.
