Apple itunes store Double charge

I only had 20$ I purchased about 5 packs of currency which totaled to 15$ in a game using apple pay. It charged my cashapp card right after purchasing and took it out of my balance successfully. But a few days later I get a “pending charge” from apple with the SAME amount that i was ALREADY charged for on the day of purchase. Apple is putting my charges into “pending” on the itunes purchase history as if on apples side “it wasn’t successful, thats why its pending” BUT On cashapp’s side I did pay the charge the same day. I also noticed that when i got the pending charge notification, the transactions on my cashapp log were REMOVED. Apple tried to charge me AGAIN with the same amount three days later as if i didn’t pay it. It’s been happening for years

That’s not the way credit or debit cards work. All transactions (except ATM withdrawals) will show pending until the charge is finalized. The merchant process charges/transactions in batches, not one by one. Most merchants close out the batch at the end of the business day. However, some smaller merchants may only close out every other day. This is for accounting reasons and it may lower transaction fees.

Merchants and banks will reflect different information. What’s pending to the merchant is what’s necessarily pending to the bank.

This is not a bug. It doesn’t cost anyone anything. It’s your lack of understanding on how credit/debit card charges are processed and what the verbiage means.

There’s many discussions here based on my experience. It’s not my Lack of understanding. I know apple puts it in batches. Thats why i said I got charged twice, the same amount totaled to 15$ from the separate ones i counted on my cashapp transaction list. A FEW DAYS LATER AFTER I ALREADY PAYED, i get a charge for 15$ that didn’t go through because i already spent the 15$ on the supposed “pending charges” the day of the purchases because it WENT THROUGH ON MY SIDE.

It’s double charging me a few days later. When ive already payed. Thats the problem. And with cashapp it tells you if it didnt go through or not and it gave me a notification that i successfully made purchases and took it out my balance. Apple said otherwise and tried to take the same amount AGAIN. It declined on my card because like i said again it was already successfully billed so the 15$ was already gone. And now i have the same pending charges for 15$ that I already spent on the charges!! It’s annoying to explain and im sorry but its genuinely taking my money man

You guys have to fix this bug because it is causing MILLIONS of people FINANCIAL problems for YEARS! AND YOU WONT LISTEN TO US!!! STOP STEALING OUR MONEY
