It sounds like you're experiencing the common issue of app icons shaking on your iPhone's home screen, indicating that they are ready to be deleted or moved. Here's how you can fix this:

  1. Try Restarting Your Device: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor software glitches. Press and hold the power button until you see the slider appear. Then, slide it to power off your device. Wait a few moments, then press and hold the power button again to turn it back on.
  2. Check for Pending Updates: Ensure that your Mail app and your iOS software are up to date. Sometimes, outdated software can cause unexpected behavior. To update your apps, open the App Store, go to the "Updates" tab, and install any available updates. To update your iOS software, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
  3. Reset Home Screen Layout: This action will reset your home screen to its default layout but won't delete any of your apps or data. To do this, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. Confirm the action, and your home screen should reset.
  4. Disable "Edit Home Screen" Mode: If your device is stuck in edit mode, where you can rearrange or delete apps, exit this mode by pressing the home button (for devices with a physical home button) or swiping up from the bottom of the screen (for devices without a home button).
  5. Force Restart: If the issue persists, try force-restarting your device. The method for force-restarting varies depending on your iPhone model. You can find instructions for your specific model on the Apple website.
