Driver needed for Epson Perfection 3490/3590 scanner - That works with MacOS 10.11.7

I have a older scanner, Epson Perfection 3490/3590, which for YEARS had worked fine with my older Macbook Pro running MacOS 10.11.. Recently I've been getting error messages when trying to scan. Restarting the program usually resulted in 2 or 3 successful scans before getting another error message. But now its gotten worse so I can't get even one good scan after restarting. Yes, it could be a problem with the scanner - but I thought the driver for the scanner may be corrupted. So I'm trying to locate a fresh copy of my existing driver that I can download and install. The Epson website appears to only have drivers for 10.13 and 10.14. Can anyone point me to a site where I can download a fresh copy of this old driver that worked for so long? Thanks.
