MacBook Pro user unable to open the training videos that are offered with a program I use for work that involves "live" programing capability to users.

VLC app I cannot access the home screen. When I open it is in the video or audio or playlists function and there is no option to get to the home screen where the functions to allow adding files is located. (My ultimate objective).

Udemy Videos not working on M1 MacBook Air Some Udemy videos have a black screen but still, play sound. I tried turning off all my extensions, clearing cookies and history, trying Chrome instead (Incognito as well), and downloading the videos to play them locally as an mp4, but the outcome is always the same. All the videos work when I try it on my windows PC (Chrome) so I'm not sure what exactly is happening. Even the downloaded videos worked on my windows PC.
