iTalk doesn't work on iPhone, iTalk Sync doesn't work on MacBook. How do I retrieve my audio files?

I wanted to look up a file on iTalk and found out it no longer works. I then wanted to save the files on my MacBook, but the iTalk Sync app no longer works there. I have visited many fora now, but have not found an answer that works. Has anybody found a workaround? Please help!

How can I transfer an audiobook to iOS18 without losing files My situation: I have a few .aax files I would like to transfer to my iPhone with iOS18.3. My mac has Sonoma 14.7.4 and Music 1.4.6.32. Before, I used to import the .aax file in iTunes 12.8.3 on a very old macbook pro and could manually transfer it to an older iPhone with 15.8.3. And for that older iPhone, it still works. I tried to share the file from my macbook pro with Airdrop, only to find that the .aax file will end up in the Files folder, and can’t be reproduced nor saved to Books. I looked up this Apple support page: Sync audiobooks between your Mac and iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support But I have a problem with syncing: I don’t want to sync EVERYTHING between my macbook pro and my iPhone. I just want selected files to sync. So, when I tick the option “Sync audiobooks onto iPhone ”, with the intention to tick “Selected audiobooks”, I get the alert that existing files will be removed. I don’t want to remove anything, I just want to add an .aax file! I never understood nor liked the sync function for this, I am a manually managing apple user. My mobile devices just should contain the (audio/book) files of my choice. Thanks in advance.

Audio files in Files (app) on iOS 26 no longer play On iOS 18, audio files could play within the Files app on my devices. The iOS 26 upgrade took that away. Playing audio files (specifically mp3) within the Files app on iPhone or iPad is useful for quick preview and (in my case) classroom instruction. It was brilliantly simple. There was even a scrubbing bar at the bottom to easily browse and move through the audio. However, with iOS 26, that ability is gone. The same audio files in my iCloud documents in the Files app no longer play. I am now asked to use another app, such as a 3rd party audio app. At the moment, I am using the Google Drive app to store and play the same audio files that used to work in the iOS ecosystem. They are simple mp3 files. I don't understand this change. How can I correct this or fix this, if possible?

MacOS Music app bug when music is dragged & dropped to iOS device TEST Environment MacBook Pro M3 MacOS Sequoia 15.6. Music app (Mac OS) 1.5.6.11 iPhone 16 Pro iOS 18.5 Physical USB-C cable connection between MBP and iPhone. This may become moot after the OS upgrade(s) to v26, but here goes. Symptom When a user drags & drops a music track from within the MacOS Music app onto the iPhone icon, the actual file transfer does not occur, but the track shows up in the list of tracks on the the track list shown for the iPhone within the MacOS Music app. When searched on the iOS Music app, the track does not exist. After the first attempt to transfer tracks using this method, context menus are no longer available in the device's track list view of MacOS Music app. Remedy Users with the above symptom should transfer tracks by using the "Add to device" context menu instead of drag & drop. If a drag & drop has already been attempted, the MacOS device must be restarted through Apple Menu > Restart... HTH
