Numbers "indirect" function error

Hi,

I have a budget spreadsheet that has multiple sheets (each month), same layout on each and I want to have one for a yearly summery for totals. I keep getting the following error when trying to use the Indirect function and can't figure out why. Can anyone tell me how to fix it. In the below images I've just picked a cell that has a total to be referenced to the cell with the function, nothing else yet and I get the error.

INDIRECT requires a string representation of a cell address. I am guessing 'Jan 8 Feb 6 2024::Summary by Category::Actual Auto' does not have a string like that in it.

Example:

=INDIRECT("Sheet 1::Table 2::B3")

Is there a reason you are using INDIRECT?

The Jan 8 Feb 6 is the name of the sheet, all the sheet names have similar naming, just follows a credit card billing cycle. I'm just trying to use INDIRECT as it's something I came across and thought it would work with SUM wrapping the INDIRECT function. I don't know, I'm sure there is an easier way to do this but I'm very much a spreadsheet newbie, even though I'm not that young, just have never had to use them in my line of work.
