screen mirroring only works if Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both turned on

i'm currently having an issue with my 2021 MacBook Pro to where when I try to do screen mirroring I must have Bluetooth turned on in order to connect to my iPad if Bluetooth is not turned on screen mirroring does not work even though they're both on the same exact network, and the other thing that's part of the puzzle is they will connect when Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on and then you turn off Bluetooth on the MacBook Pro The iPad stays connected to the MacBook Pro on screen mirroring but if you stop screen mirroring and then restart screen mirroring to go back to the iPad to screen mirroring the MacBook to the iPad it's like it's not on the network anymore. Anybody else having this issue

If you are using Sidecar to connect your MacBook to iPad, then Bluetooth must be on to establish the connection.
