How do u play 2 player co op on games like streets of rage 4 with using 2 controllers on iPhone games

does anyone know? Can u play two player for games like streets of rage 4 or TMNT shedders revenge when it comes to two player co op?

i connected my joy cons and connected the “switch pro controller” and i got both controllers working however they both control 1 player. I’m trying to play 2 player co op on both these games using 1 controlled for 1st player and the other as 2nd player… I can’t seem to figure out if you can make each controller separate for player 1 and for player 2 please someone help!!!!
