Cannot login on to my new iMac

My new iMac is asking for a password - I used the password for my MacBook Air but it does not accept this and has now locked me out of the iMac

So I migrated the data from my laptop to the imac which was completed. The password on my laptop works but not on the iMac

How do I fix this? It is giving me no options - only asking for a password
