Uninstalling Norton 360

IMac

Big Sur

While I was away my son decided to install Norton 360 on my iMac as I run Big Sur. . I want to uninstall the programme as I know experts here state that an antivirus programme is not recommended for a Mac.

Is is best for me to download the Norton tool that helps to uninstall Norton hidden away in folders, or to simply go to Finder and uninstall from there, please?

Should I download Clean my Files the free version to do the latter easily or will this complicate matters further?

I welcome your advice and thank you in anticipation.
