CarPlay randomly audio changes to single speaker when listening to music apps

When listening to music in CarPlay in my Chevy Silverado the audio out will sometimes just randomly switch to a single speaker. To switch it back I have to pause music then hit play again and it’ll go back to normal. Sometimes it’ll switch back on its own. I have reset the infotainment system and phone Bluetooth, updated all the systems and still nothing is working. This is making me want to switch from IPhone.
