LG UltraFine 5k Monitor black out on and off issue.

It seems like the root problem of this blackout for a second or two is the power source. I read on an outside forum of a person that had his LG UF5K connected to the same power source as the refrigerator. Every time the compressor would star his monitor would blackout for one or two seconds. The solution for him was connecting LG UF5k to a single power source. I had the same blackout problem. My LG UF5K was connected to a power surge with a 5k display studio, LG 4k monitor and a Mac Studio along with things like a stand-sit desk charging cables etc. I removed the LG UF5k power cord, connected it to the wall and my screen has not blacked out in over 5 hours.

Thanks for sharing the solution.

Stable voltage is a must for sensitive electronics. High draw motors like refrigerator compressor and your sit-stand desk can lower the circuit voltage to below the electronic devices threshold. In your case though, I think that I would find another power source for the sit-stand desk instead of the LG Display.
