Apple Pay Security

I found out that if Faceid not reconice face the code can be used using ApplePay. It should be a feature in Apple pay configuration selection able to accept only FaceID as approved confirmation for any purchase using ApplePay as I guess this is more secure than allowing use of code in addition. Any comments?
