I am unable to sync music from Mac to iCloud

I have music on my Mac that I cannot sync to Apple Cloud

Hi,

You can’t sync music app to iCloud storage which is not meant for music files.

Music purchased from iTunes Store is readily re-downloaded from the cloud. Download previous iTunes Store purchases in Music on Mac – Apple Support (UK).

You need an iTunes Match or Apple Music subscription to sync your music to iCloud Music library.

Thank you, I don’t and do not wish to get one. I just spent 2 hours with AppleSupport, and at the end they explained that with the last updates of the app I will not be able to export my music because it was not purchased on iTunes or AppleMusic. This is a major drawback, I am looking at alternative applications
