Iphone 15 is still overheating.

For the first few days, you can expect the phone to run warmer than you might expect, as it is indexing millions of bytes of data behind the scene as you're likely trying things out at the same time. Apple let everyone know this would be true with iPhone 15 and isn't cause for concern.

And the term "overheating" is overused, when the phone is likely NOT overheating. When an iPhone overheats for real, the phone stops working and a temperature symbol appears on the screen letting you know the phone needs to cool down before you can resume using it. If you're not seeing that, your iPhone is NOT overheating.

Give it a few days and you'll see things run less warm, once all of the data is indexed.

I was concerned because I have used previous versions of iPhone and this never happened. Not at least in the initial days of purchase. At first when i went through the blogs, a lot mentioned it is because of the body and the built in chip. I just wanted to be sure if there is fix. I guess I will wait for a while.

There's no need to be concerned. It will run warm for a few days, then settle down. Now, you can expect it be warm if you use a 20w fast charging plug when you charge it. And if you do intense things like play games and stream videos or music, it will run warm then, which is normal and to be expected.
