You can log in to https://icloud.com/find to track it, but its location will not show unless it has an internet connection. You should put it in Lost mode anyway. Here’s more guidance→If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support.

Even if you can find it, what would you do about it? Confronting the thief is not a good strategy; people have been murdered doing that. It’s best to accept that you are not getting it back.

Beware of a common phishing scam: You may get a text or email from “Apple” or “Apple Security” (or sometimes “Police”) saying your phone has been found and to click on a link to see its location. This is NEVER from Apple or from law enforcement; it is from the thief or fence to steal your Apple ID and identity. Delete any such message without responding to it. Apple never gets involved in lost or stolen devices→Avoid phishing emails, fake ‘virus‘ alerts, phony support calls, and other scams

I have done all those steps...and after four days my previous phone was able to locate my stollen phone. I went to their place and showed my old phone showing the clear location and house. They were speechless...and gave me the phone, but all ruined. However I had couple of hundreds in it too and they denied finding it...lol.

thank you so very much for trying to help...It proved that there are good people ready to help!!
