How do I add my iPod to my Apple Music account?

How do I add my iPod 64g to my account can not log in to it, I also have an iPod mini that I think should be added. so I can add more of my own music to it.

You don't. iPod classics and iPod minis cannot be directly added to your Apple ID.

You can however sync music to them from a Mac or PC using iTunes or the Finder.

So, I am to load the music into iTunes and then sync to the iPod or iPad? Will it take the music I have on there already off? the music I have on there I want to keep on there. I had an iPhone 4 and when I tried to add more music to it my entire library was removed and only had the music that I bought from iTunes. This music is from CDs I have purchased at a store. That phone had music from CDs and now i have to reload it all over again.

What iPad?

The iTunes library on the PC should hold all your music. If it doesn’t, it will wipe anything already on iPods and iOS devices when you attempt to sync them.

If you have music on iPods and iOS devices you want to preserve, you will need to extract it from the device and add it to the iTunes library so it can be synced to other devices.
