It is very important to understand that there is no warehouse for Apple devices. Most Macs are built to order in a few weeks elapsed time.

if you enter that as an order in the Apple Online Store in your country, the system can show you what nearby Apple-owned stores are prepared to deliver that device to you soon, or summon one to the store for local pickup. There may not be ANY, and it may have to be built for you.

Apple store stock is maintained for each GROUP of Apple-owned stores in a geographic area, and possibly overlapping into nearby geographic areas as well. Showing up at a store expecting to buy it there may not work unless the system indicates it is available for purchase at that exact store TODAY.

Resellers use even more complex methods such as Buying Groups and other mechanisms that Apple can not access. Apple can not tell you what Reseller stock looks like. Just as BobTheFisherman suggests, you would have to contact Resellers directly.
