Does Apple still support updates to iPod classic
Will Apple still support the iPods? I have a classic and want to update it. But it seems like a hard task to do.

Support is here, and always has been. Apple no longer sell the Classic, or provide updates for it, but it does still work with iTunes (if that's what you're using) or with Finder on the newer Macs.
In theory, the replacement app in Windows will work with the Classic too, but overall, that app is not yet ready for mainstream use.
I have a classic and want to update it.
Let's make sure that your definition of "update" is the same as those of us who help out here:
