how do I uninstall and reinstall Outlook on my MacBook pro?

Outlook has stopped sending Teams invites when I request them. My IT folks said to uninstall and reinstall the Outlook app.

Making Outlook for Mac default email app When I click on email addresses in Chrome, I get a dialogue box asking me to choose various options, none of which is my preferred application, Outlook for Mac. The article I found suggested changing the default in the Apple Mail app's preferences, but I don't see the options that the article described and I can't find anywhere else to change the default email application to Outlook. I'm on a new Macbook Air with the latest operating system. Tips?

Microsoft Outlook for Mac - DELETING CALENDER MESSAGE INVITES This is in reference to when someone clicks accept on a meeting invite and then the invite moves from the inbox to the deleted items. On a Windows machine, this can be disabled by going to File > Options > Mail > "Delete meeting requests and notifications from Inbox after responding". However, I havent been able to find such a setting on the Mac. Where is this Setting in the Microsoft Outlook for Mac App? Its is frustrating , as I have my work email on a Macbook and Windows Desktop, So if i open the Calendar Meeting Invite or Event on my Macbook it gets added to my personal outlook calendar , and then it gets deleted! So on my work windows pc ( that does not have my outlook account ) but my local work email ( the meeting invite is now gone/deleted) Please help

You can open the Applications folder and drag the Outlook icon down to the Trash and then empty it. Then visit the Microsoft web site to download the app. You may have to provide a Microsoft authorization code to do so. This will be the code you received when you purchased Microsoft Office.
