My iPhone 15 Pro running 17.4.1 is sending read receipts when I have it turned off. This has been happening since I got the iPhone 15 pro. I don’t like that people are getting read receipts when I have NOT even opened the message. I am ready to get a different phone from someone else!!
I am not sure if everyone is having this problem but I tried doing an online with Apple & after 2 hours I needed to talk with someone else. I passed since it was already passed midnight. Wish it would get fixed!!
Do you have any other Apple devices that are set up to receive texts?

yes as far as I know it’s doing it for everyone & I have it turned off for everyone.
