How to merge two Apple ID on Family Sharing

My Apple ID is mine & my wife new iPad is with her Apple ID. Under family sharing shows our own Apple ID which does not match - thus issues for sharing.

I've purchased items under my ID and she has purchase apps under her ID.

Now I'm trying to figure how to share without bothering each of ours Apple ID.

If under Family Sharing I change my wife Apple ID to mine, will she loose what she has already purchased?

I'm a little confused on how to do and the outcome if I start changing (add or subtract) Family sharing IDs

Under Family sharing each user retains their own AppleID.

Make sure that each family member has a unique Apple ID - Apple Support

“Sharing” only shares services and content and possibly payments. (Each of the several possibly shared services is individually selectable)

One of you will be designated as the “Family Organizer” but it does NOT convey any sort of “Administrator” privileges over the other user’s devices.

No family member can “see” the other’s iCloud data.

There is no need for a “common” AppleID; in fact using one is a REALLY bad practice.
