Is there any way to watch a downloaded Apple TV movie while in flight mode on a flight?
It seems that Apple TV after a while needs an Internet connection to check something on the servers and if Internet is not available it stops the play.
Clearly in flight mode there is no Internet.

I used to have this issue with Music. The way I worked around it was to play the downloaded media with an internet connection just prior to going offline. Try that next time? Just might do the trick.
It's just my assumption. I cannot provide any link.
What happens is that I cannot play for more than few minutes a downloaded movie.
I don't know why.
I tried multiple times and my IPAD is always updated to the latest IOS.
If nobody else has the same problem then it means I need to retest it and find the solution.
