How do I recover a text message from a deleted contact?
i have deleted a person in my text that i need to retrieve

Open the Messages App
Tap Edit at the top
If you see Recently Deleted, tap there
See if the message is listed
Recently keeps messages for up to 30 days. If it has been longer than 30 days, the message is gone and there is no place you can get it back from.
