up next problems

To delete items from Up Next, highlight a chosen tile in the Up Next row, then click-and-hold to show a contextual menu, then choose the Remove from Up Next option. It will remember the watch progress and history, but not list it again in Up Next until you start watching that show or movie again.

To delete all items in Up Next, go to Settings and set the Use Play History option to Off — like a reset. After checking the success of this action, set it to back to On again to track new viewing progress and watch history from that moment on.

Would the second option (to delete ALL items) explain why my Up Next is wiped after each oS upgrade?

App settings are supposed to be re-applied after app updates or OS updates.

I have never found Up Next wiped for myself. I have no idea why that would happen. Sorry. 🤷‍♂️
