Cannot subscribe to a creator on Facebook with my Ipad

Hi does anyone else have this problem. I am trying to subscribe to a creator on Facebook so that I can pay a monthly supporter fee. The button I need to press to subscribe does not work on Apple IPad just on Apple iPhone. I wish watch the content on my IPad, I don’t wish to subscribe through my phone only to find I can’t gain access on iPad. They are both synced and my Safari browser is up to date as it did an update just the other day - 14.07. I have deleted Facebook and reinstalled it also. What am I doing wrong.

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 17

The FB app for iPad has been broken in one way or another for probably a year. FB seems unwilling or unable to resolve all the issues. I suggest using a browser as much as possible.

I have the same issue. I subscribed to a photographer’s page and I would prefer to see it on my iPad for obvious reasons. I had to subscribe on my iPhone and while the button is there for subscriber’s on my iPad, the button does nothing. There are no updates available for FB app.

Thank you for your reply, I have already dine that but all they said was to update my browser, which I have done, I just wondered if any one else had ever had this problem and was able to rectify it
