I am unable to remove DNS profile from MacBook with macOS Sonoma.

I've been working to trying to fix an error message after shutdowns (detailed here), and one thing I wanted to try was removing the AdGuard DNS profile I have installed.

Unfortunately, for some reason, removing it never works. I log in to an admin account, open Network settings, choose "Filters", select the profile, and click the minus button. It asks for my password, I enter it, and nothing happens. And from that point, clicking the minus button again does nothing at all. I've tried this several times, restarting, etc. No dice. I've also tried downloading other profiles from that page and installing them, with no luck. When I open the config file, System Settings gives me a notification saying I can view the profile in Settings to enable it, but it doesn't show up there.

Does anybody have any ideas on why this could be or how I can fix it?

Thanks!
